The school librarians yesterday drew the prize for the Norwich City Pennant that had been signed by members of the Norwich City Football Team. The raffle had been hugely popular, with many people buying large numbers of tickets in an attempt to win the extremely desirable prize. The prize was drawn by our special visitor, Speed Reduction Officer Mr Green and the winner was Norwich City fan Ella, who was absolutely delighted (and, by all accounts, so was her dad!).
The money raised is being put towards the School Library Project. This project, which has been launched by the Year 5 and Year 6 Librarians, aims to transform our tired-looking library into an inspiring space that will help instil a love of reading in all our pupils.
We are very grateful to Norwich City Football Club for their generous donation, and to the Framlingham and Halesworth Book Shops who donated the second and third prizes, won by Oliver and Eden.
